COVID-19: SciTS 2020 Conference Update

Please find a full statement from the INSciTS Board of Directors regarding the COVID-19 pandemic here.

There are three main points we would like to communicate about the 2020 conference:

  1. At the current time, SciTS 2020 will proceed as planned.
  2. INSciTS is aware that some participants are restricted from using institutional and sponsored funds at this time, due to local policies. To assist with this temporary barrier, you may register without paying. If we are able to hold the conference, we will collect payment of the registration fee before or at the conference and when your access to funds becomes more predictable.
  3. INSciTS and the local planning committee are monitoring the situation daily and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

Registration for the 11th Annual International Science of Team Science Conference, taking place June 1-4, 2020 at Duke University in Durham, NC, is now open. The conference theme is Excellence in Studying, Teaching, and Doing Team Science

Join an INSciTS Special Interest Group

INSciTS Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are member-led groups that provide a “home within a home” for INSciTS members to connect and collaborate with colleagues with shared interests in the SciTS field. SIGs help to build community around shared interests and aligned activities, enable collaboration throughout the year, advance key priority areas in the SciTS field, and create opportunities to engage with external groups. Currently active SIGs address: changing academic culture to foster team science (TS) success; creating incubator spaces for TS; training for TS; scientometrics, network analysis, and data visualization; and emerging careers.  To learn more, please click on the button below.
